Rebecca Williams

Rebecca Williams has over 20 years consulting experience in Australia, Asia, New Zealand, Europe, UK, Canada and USA. She is a registered psychologist and organisational development specialist with expertise in psychometric assessment, executive coaching, workforce development, and recruitment.

She joined Ferris during 2020 to lead our executive level recruitment engagements in our key markets of mining and private education.

Whilst residing in Wales UK, Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Science honours degree majoring in Applied Psychology. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Occupational Psychology and is certified in ability and personality psychometric testing with the British Psychological Society.

Rebecca immigrated to Australia in 2011 and was engaged in consulting and coaching safety citizenship to heavy industries such as mining, energy and construction. She most recently worked with international organisations in the banking, retail, aviation and transport industries providing capability assessment, workforce strategies, team alignment coaching and c-suite recruitment.

Based in Canada and the UK, Rebecca worked within the utility, retail, pharmaceutical, banking and professional services industries via consulting companies and SHL, the world’s leading psychometric testing provider. She specialised in advising M&A people due diligence to the banking industry and consulting to business leaders to strategically build their talent pool through executive coaching, psychometric-based capability assessment and recruitment.

John Ferris

Owner and Founder

John Ferris is a registered Psychologist and Management Consultant with over 30 years consulting experience in Australia, Asia, Africa, South America and North America. He has an Honours Graduate Degree in Organisational Psychology from The University of Queensland and is a Fellow and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 1991 John established Ferris Management Consultants to provide consulting support on organisation and management issues. He has developed long-standing commercial relationships with clients working on engagements to achieve organisational objectives.

John has extensive experience working with Boards and Senior Management in established organisations and in the development of new projects. Specific work has included definition of goals and organisation culture, strategy development, organisation review, industrial relations strategy, executive and board recruitment, global people search and selection, performance development, people due diligence to inform mergers and acquisitions and psychological assessment.

John’s areas of specialisation have been applied across a range of industries in both private and public sectors. Specific industry experience includes mining, energy, ports and terminals, education, agriculture, construction, transport and logistics, manufacturing, diversified multi-nationals and professional services.
